Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my pH reading fluctuate or drift?

Fluctuations often occur due to electrical interference, a dirty glass bulb, or a depleted reference electrolyte. Ensure the electrode is cleaned regularly and calibrated using fresh buffer solutions.

Can I use any pH electrode with this controller?

Most of our controllers use a standard BNC connector, making them compatible with various industrial electrodes, though we recommend using our matched sensors for the best response.

What is ATC and why is it important?

Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) adjusts the pH calculation based on water temperature, as pH values are temperature-dependent. This ensures accuracy in systems with varying water heat.

How do I maintain my pH sensor?

Keep the electrode tip moist (preferably in 3M KCl solution) when not in use. Avoid touching the glass bulb with fingers and clean it with mild acid if mineral buildup occurs.
