How often should I calibrate my conductivity meter?

For industrial processes, we recommend monthly calibration using a standard conductivity solution to ensure accuracy, or whenever the sensor is cleaned.

What is the difference between Conductivity and TDS?

Conductivity measures the ability of water to pass electric current, while TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) is a measure of the dissolved minerals. Meters use a conversion factor (usually 0.5 to 0.7) to show TDS from conductivity.

Can these sensors handle hot water?

Standard ABS sensors handle up to 60°C. For boiler feed or high-temp lines, we offer specialized stainless steel sensors rated up to 120°C.

Does the controller include a sensor?

Yes, all our online controllers come as a complete kit including the digital display unit and the compatible electrode/sensor with a standard cable.
